arrest Three persons suspected to be thieves have been picked up by the police at the scene of the gas explosion Saturday night. Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Police Service, DSP Shellia Abayie Buckman confirmed the arrest to Adom News. In an interview with spoke to Adom News’ Kwame Kulenu,  she explained that, the three were stealing from shops and other properties deserted at the Atomic junction gas explosion site when they were accosted. DSP Buckman said they are currently in custody at the Madina police station and would be arranged before court on Monday October 9,2017. Hundreds of residents in and around Madina, Atomic Junction and a section of the main campus of the University of Ghana run helter-skelter following an explosion that occured at a gas station in Atomic Junction, near Madina in the Greater Accra Regional. The residents some of whom were almost hakf naked run for dear lives following the explosion. Victim picture The nature of the explosion caused pandemonium in Madina, Legon and its environs.
