Hundreds of residents in and around Madina, Atomic Junction and a section of the main campus of the University of Ghana run helter-skelter following an explosion that occured at a gas station in Atomic Junction, near Madina in the Greater Accra Regional. The residents some of whom were almost hakf naked run for dear lives following the explosion. Victim picture The nature of the explosion caused pandemonium in Madina, Legon and its environs. A stream in koforidua called “ATAKPAAME” near King of King’s School, Zongo has turned into blood this morning,Kumikasa.com can confirm. Residents in Koforidua Nsukwao were left baffled when they woke up and discovered their river had turned blood-red. Witnesses who lives around the area in an interview with kumikasa.com said the river was running normally at 5am but within just a few minutes it began turning to a red colour. Resident said: ‘The really weird thing is that we have always been able to catch fish and can even drink sometimes because it’s just normally so good. ‘Nobody has any idea how it could have ended up being polluted because there are no factories that dump anything in the water here.’ residents disclosed.
